- Age Concern Barnstaple & District is concerned for the 'quality of life and the wellbeing' of older people in the local community.
- We aim to improve the quality of life for older people and their carers. We seek to ensure that they maintain their self-respect and independence and enjoy freedom of choice and equal opportunities.
- We work locally with and for older people providing services on a social and practical level to enable them to live in their own homes for as long as it is safe for them to do so.
- We aim to raise awareness of older people's issues and influence policy at local, regional and national levels.
Volunteer Drivers and Home Visitors Needed
Do you have time to spare? We urgently require Volunteer Drivers and Home Visitors to provide a range of practical sevices in response to older people's needs. Out of pocket expenses paid. Training and support will be given. Join us, make a difference in your community.
